Akshay Kumar's photo with these children on Kesari's set will melt your hearts
It was innocent smiles galore on the sets of Akshay Kumar's film Kesari. The actor was seen shooting with some lovely children playing Afghani kids in the upcoming venture.
Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, which is one of the bravest battles fought in India. Akshay began shooting for this film on January 5. Actress Parineeti Chopra will be seen sharing screen space with Akshay in this Karan Johar film.
This is the same film, which was announced with Salman Khan and Karan Johar coming onboard as the film's producers.
On hearing these three bigwigs joining hands for this epic saga, their fans couldn't contain their excitement. However, due to certain reasons, Salman Khan opted out of the association.
Akshay had taken to his Twitter account to release the first look of the film and had written about how proud and happy he was to begin 2018 with Kesari.
In the picture, Akshay is seen in an orange turban with a thick moustache and a long beard. He captioned it as, "Feeling nothing but immense pride and gratitude while sharing this. Beginning my 2018 with #KESARI, my most ambitious film and a lot of passion. Need your best wishes as always (sic)."
Talking about Salman's fallout from the film, Akshay himself cleared the air and said, "Yes, we couldn't do it. I am making the film with Karan Johar and that's it."
Kesari is based on 1857 Battle of Saragarhi between Sikh soldiers of the British Indian army and Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen.
