Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmmi Bomb to feature this Jab We Met actor as a villain
Ever since the first look of Akshay Kumar in his upcoming Laxmmi Bomb has been unveiled, fans are even more eager to watch the film. He can be seen in a totally different avatar in the poster.
Earlier, the director of the film, Raghava Lawrence, had stepped down from his position citing creative differences with the producers. Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani will be seen opposite each other for the first time.
Now, the actor who has been roped to play the role of a villain in Laxmmi Bomb has been revealed. The Jab We Met actor Tarun Arora will essay the negative role.
He was seen as Kareena Kapoor Khan's character Geet's boyfriend Anshuman. A source said, “Like in the original, the Hindi villain is also a corrupt MLA, and Raghava, who has worked with Tarun in Kanchana 3, which released in April this year, believes that he is apt for the part. His new avatar is very different from his Jab We Met character. The formalities are currently underway."
Laxmmi Bomb is the Hindi remake of the Tamil horror-comedy, Muni 2: Kanchana. In the film, Akshay Kumar's character is possessed by a transgender ghost.
The film went on floors in the end of April in Mumbai, and during the shoot, Akshay and Kiara Advani filmed a song titled Bismillah. Laxmmi Bomb is set to hit the theatres on June 5, 2020.
