Reportedly, Aditi Rao Hydari has been roped in as a last-minute replacement for Samantha Akkineni in Ajay Bhupathi’s upcoming film Maha Samudram. Though there is no official confirmation, grapevine suggested that Aditi is heading towards Hyderabad for the film’s shoot.
Talking about the same news, the Hyderabad-born actress urged the media to wait for announcements from filmmakers rather than spreading their own theories.
Mentioning the same on her Twitter handle, the 33-year-old actress also posted that a hit or flop cannot take away the credibility of an actor. This is in reference to the rumour that Samantha has been dropped from Maha Samudram owing to the disastrous response of her recent film Jaanu.
However, the actress neither confirmed nor denied the news.
Commenting on a report in a news portal, Aditi wrote “I genuinely feel this is important to say... a hit or flop cannot take away the credibility of an actor. Pl Let’s not encourages this kind of thinking. secondly lets give a director/producer the respect to make their announcements in the way that they deem fit. Thank you”
According to reports, Sharwanand is finalised to play the protagonist in the film.
The 35-year-old actor was reportedly impressed with Ajay Bhupathi’s narration and suggested no changes to the script. The shooting of the film is set to kick-off pretty soon. Initially, there were reports that Naga Chaitanya would play the protagonist but later it’s said that Ravi Teja was finalised. However, the cryptic tweet of the director referring to someone as ‘Cheap Star’ created quite a noise among the industry circles. When contacted, Ajay categorically stated that Ravi Teja is no longer a part of Maha Samudram.
