Aamir Khan want’s cousin Mansoor Khan gets back to direction
Mansoor Khan, who maintain a space from direction for a few years, cousin Aamir Khan wants to get back him to film making.
Superstar Aamir has been trying his best to convince him, who made his directorial debut with 1988 Aamir-starrer 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', last directed 'Josh' in 2000.
He was also co-producer 'Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na', which marked the acting debut of his nephew Imran Khan.
Lately, at the launch of Mansoor's father and Aamir's uncle Nasir Husain's biography, PK actor expressed his desire to have his cousin back in the director's chair.
Aamir also revealed, “when Mansoor was studying MBA, his father Nasir told him, 'You might go anywhere but in the end, you will have to return to films because these are our roots”.
Aamir quipped, "Nowadays, I have been saying the same to Mansoor, 'You can't go far, you will have to return! (To film making).' I have been trying to convince him."
Mansoor replied, "I hope, like the last time, this time also, it comes true," igniting hope in fans about his return. Mansoor has had a short but shining career.
While he won a National Award for 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', his other three directorial ventures - 'Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar', 'Akele Hum Akele Tum' and 'Josh' garnered audience's love.
