On the arrival of the New Year, fans of Deepika Padukone were left stunned as the actor deleted all her tweets and Instagram posts.
While many people wondered that Padukone’s social media accounts have been hacked, the actor on Friday took to the platforms to launch an audio diary and also wish her fans a Happy New Year. In an audio message, she said, “Hi everyone, welcome to My Audio Diary, a record of my thoughts and feelings. 2020 was a year of uncertainty for everybody but for me, it was also about gratitude and about being present, and for 2021, all I can wish for myself and everybody is good health and peace of mind. Happy New Year.”
With many celeb accounts getting hacked recently, many were left wondering if Deepika’s account has also fallen prey to hackers. However, a closer look revealed that it was done by Deepika as the actor changed her display picture. It was a temporary measure taken by Deepika, perhaps to highlight the audio diary launch.
While Deepika removed her posts, her Instagram Stories were still visible on the account. Also, there was a record of tweets she had liked till now. Deepika has 52.5 million followers on Instagram and 27.7 million followers on Twitter. On the work front, Deepika will be seen in Shakun Batra’s domestic noir with Ananya Panday and Sidhant Chaturvedi.
