Twinkle Khanna recently started the #WhatsInYourDabba Challenge on Tweak India. Twinkle is known to be active on social media and she often starts conversations about important topics. The food we eat on a daily basis is certainly one of the most important things in our lives.
So Twinkle Khanna posted a picture of her enjoying beetroot tiikis. Beetroots are considered to be a very healthy vegetable full of nutrients like Iron. With her post, Twinkle gave her fans the idea of giving a healthy twist to tikkis by incorporating beets!
She then nominated Akshya Kumar, who is one of the fittest people in India, for this challenge. Akki loves these challenges as we all know. So Akshay posted a picture of his dabba – avocado on toast and chia pudding. Now avocado and chia are not food items you would usually buy or even find very readily available. These food items are not only hard to find, they are also expensive. But both avocado and chia seeds are packed with nutrients and very good for your health!
Akshay nominated Katrina, one of the fittest female actors in Bollywood. Kat posted a picture of her plate of idlis with 3 chutneys made from spinach, beets, tomatoes and coconuts. Interesting and very easily available items!
Malaika Arora shared a picture of her Zuchinni noodles with bellpepper sauce. Apparently Malaika is avoiding carbs it seems!
The best post came from Shikhar Dhawan. His spread included fresh fruit – papaya and pineapple. There was baked beans on avocado toast and also masala uttapam with sambhar. This meal is worthy of being enjoyed by the Gods – tasty, wholesome, filling and nutritious!
