Life OK has begun its life with a handful of shows that do nothing to set it apart from the rest of the channels. Here are the signature shows that the channel has begun with:


1. Dil Se Dua…Saubhagyawati Bhava?
There is nothing unusual about the life of Jahnavi, who is a victim of domestic abuse and violence. Her husband Viraj is a possessive and jealous man who appears to be the perfect husband on the surface. But only Jahnavi knows the ugly reality. Doesn’t this remind you of a current sub-plot in Star Plus’ show “Sasural Genda Phool”?


2. Tum Dena Saath Mera
This show has some promise in the plot but who knows how the director will shape it up eventually. The story is about a newly married couple from a small town who move to Mumbai. Manan, the husband is ambitious and street smart. Abhilasha, the wife, is meek and seeks little pleasures from life. Their experiences as a new couple in Mumbai could be very interesting.


3. Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki
Nothing original here! A story about a young middle class girl who has great aspirations and wants to be rich some day. She is faced with a choice between true love and wealth eventually. Which will she choose?


4. Meri Maa
Inspired from the Colors TV shows like “Balika Vadhu” and Phulwa”, this story revolves around a little girl Jhilmil. Jhilmil is a street kid wo is looking for her mother. She goes through various sweet and sour experiences while on this journey.


5. Sach Ka Saamna
This is probably the only saving grace for the Naya TV Channel. Who doesn’t love Rajeev Khandelwal? The channel will get loads of eyeballs just from this one show!
 
On the whole, Life OK does not have much to gloat about right now. What the channel really needs is a few reality shows. If they want to capture the young audience, they need to think “NEW” and have at least a handful of interesting reality shows.
