Netflix’s Sandra Bullock whodunit Bird Box, which debuted in late December, quickly became one of the most gossiped about original movies in the platform’s history. The movie inspired countless memes and now a physical challenge got introduced too that can cause bodily harm.

The “Bird Box Challenge” trusts on the inclination of the participant to risk embarrassment and injury in chase of laughs — and, hopefully, views. The challenge involves wearing a blindfold, like the characters in the movie do to avoid the risk of seeing the monster that makes you kill yourself, and running around like an idiot, perhaps crashing into something. Then you post it on social media and wait for the favas to rack up.

Apparently, enough people have contributed in the challenge that Netflix’s Twitter account felt the need to make the following warning to its users. Naturally, Netflix thinks this is dumb and is advising people not to try it.

Taking to Twitter, the media services provider warned:

“Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you do not end up in the hospital due to memes.”

Well, this new challenge should not be prolonged as it involves risk and certainly damage to your own body.

They prudently take advantage of this particular fact and commence flooding ones inbox along with snail-mail box having hundreds of Zero APR credit cards offers right after the holiday season ends. Knowing that if you are like 98 in the American open public, you’ll rush at the one opportunity to consolidate financial debt and switch balances to 0 interest rates credit cards.
