Upasana Singh saves herself from molestation attempt by a taxi driver

Upasana Singh became a household name after her stint in Kapil Sharma’s comedy chat show.

The actress, who was last seen in ‘Judwaa 2’, recently escaped a molestation attempt. According to reports, Upasana who was shooting for a film in Chandigarh was returning to her hotel room after wrapping up the shoot. The driver of the taxi she took reportedly drove her to a dark stretch at night.

Not taking any risk, Upasana immediately informed the police control room who responded promptly, saving her from any untoward incident.

The reports further stated that while the driver was interrogated by the police the same night where he confessed to the crime after denying it initially, Upasana was escorted to her hotel and ensured that she was safe.

The actress reportedly withdrew her complaint after the driver tendered her written apology and after she was cajoled by her production members.

Narrating the incident Upasana had reportedly said that she wanted to go for a stern punishment, given that it could have happened to anybody. However, then later she decided to let it go post he wrote an apology letter.
