So the current heart throb of Bollywood Ranbir Kapoor is all set to make an appearance as a successful salesman. Ranbir may be the Rocket Singh, Salesman Of The Year for YRF, but for corporate India, Shahrukh Khan is the real salesman.

SRK has scores of brands under his belt. His chosen brands keep hiring him year after year for endorsements. Same is the story for Linc Pens, the company which has recently renewed their endorsement contract with King Khan for another year. A little birdie tells us that the management of Linc Pens is so happy with their sales post the SRK endorsement, that they wish to retain the Baadshah of Bollywood as their endorser at any price.

Here’s what SRK has to say about this, “It has been wonderful being a part of the Linc team for the past year and I am glad to continue the association. Over the years, Linc is one of the most trusted brands in the Indian writing pen industry and I am happy to be associated with the Linc family.”

The reason why corporate India loves King Khan is that he is never afraid of challenges or of doing new things. It was SRK who appeared in a Lux advertisement, relaxing in a tub filled with water and rose petals. Feminine? Not when it is King Khan! Recently, Shahrukh has “aged”, appearing as an old romantic man in an advertisement for Dish TV. This is what is called pushing the envelope, Right?

This is why even Rocket Singh feels that SRK is the biggest marketing guru in Bollywood. Recently, when Ranbir Kapoor, Shimit Amin and Jaideep Sahni were asked in an interview to name the person who they thought was the best marketing mind in Bollywood, SRK was the unanimous reply! Looks like everyone is in agreement about Shahrukh’s sales abilities. Do we hear a certain idiot grunting in anger?
