They say it is lonely at the top. Must be true. Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan seems to have lost all his friends on the way up. Now that he is struggling to regain the Numero Uno position, he seems to be missing his friends more than ever.

It has now been 3 years since the famous SRK-Sallu spat that occured on the birthday party of Katrina Kaif. We all expected them to make up after a little while. Some people even said that it was a publicity gimmick. But the two have maintained the distance to this day.

Farah Khan has always been known for her love for Shahrukh. She once said that she would never make a film without SRK. But today she has made Tees Maar Khan with Akshay Kumar, and has reportedly included spoofs on her friend SRK. The mutual love and admiration is gone.

Besides these two close friends, Shahrukh is not on good terms with Aamir Khan, who displayed his own lack of character with his dog-shahrukh blog post at the time of release of Ghajini. Kareena Kapoor was once very close to SRK. But today she has also changed her friends and preferences. She has proved that success is a relative term. If you lose success, you lose all your friends and relatives too!

All these changes in his social circle seem to have made SRK lonely. This must be why he apologized to his frenemies Salman & Farah in a chat on Koffee With Karan. Perhaps King Khan is trying to woo back his lost friends. He has admitted that if Farah and Salman were not talking to him, then it is probably his own fault. He has even said that he was more than willing to bury the hatchet.

Let us see how his old friends respond to this olive branch. Will they forgive him and get back together with him? Or will they turn up their snobbish noses and keep the rumor mills going? Time will tell…
