While presenting his speech, Shahrukh in his witty and captivating speech said that “I’ve been made to understand there are lots of you here who have never seen my work, and I feel really sad for you. Adding to it, the Raees actor said, “That doesn’t take away from the fact that I’m completely self-obsessed, as a movie star should be.”
The star who is known to be the best actor and king of romance in India spoke how he loves his fans and how he has emerged to the position he is in at present because of his fans and family. The actor defined love as a beat that needs to be urged in a regular basis. Shahrukh said, “I’ve learned that whatever moves you, whatever urges you to create, build, whatever keeps you from failing, whatever helps you survive, is perhaps the oldest and the simplest emotion is known to mankind, and that is love.”
The actor spoke about his life and spoke how the definition of humanity has evolved with the passing year. He told the audience how he shifted to Mumbai to make a career in acting and met many people who changed his perceptions and his ideas. The actor who has received the honorary doctorate at the University of Edinburgh kept the audience engrossed with his wittiness and captivating sarcasm.
