Randeep Hooda shares a throwback picture on the account of Haryana Day
Like every year, this year too 1st November is observed as Haryana Day. This date marks the time in 1966 when the state was carved out of the existing state of East Punjab based on linguistic criteria. As actor Randeep Hooda hails from the state, a proud citizen of Haryana, shared an old picture on social media.
Randeep shared this throwback picture on the account of Haryana Day.
The picture was taken back during Haryana Swarna Mahotsav. Randeep is posing along with his mom and had captioned the picture as, “आड़े की माँ वीर ए जन्या करै।वीर भूमी।मेरी माँ।जय जवान जय किसान।जय हरियाणा #Haryanaswarnajayanti #Haryana #HaryanaDay.” This photograph was probably taken during one of the celebrations of Haryana Day. Randeep retweeted the same post and shared it today.
In the picture, we can see Randeep decked up in a typical traditional attire while his mom looked radiant in a black Punjabi suit.
Randeep Hooda is off Bollywood films for a while now after his power-packed performance in 2018’s ‘Baaghi 2’. However, he recently made an appearance at Amitabh Bachchan’s Diwali bash which was hosted last week. On the work front, he is currently working on a few Bollywood films namely ‘Dhaka’ and ‘Aaj Kal’ which is still under the filming process. According to reports Dhaka will release in 2019 while the other film is slated for a 2020 release.
