Season 3 of Bigg Boss seems to be doomed. Bigg Boss is the desi version of hit reality show Big Brother, and was extremely popular during its first two seasons. Hence, expectations were very high when the third season was announced. Further adding to the expectations, Amitabh Bachchan was announced to be the new host. So it’s little wonder that the inaugural episode of Bigg Boss 3 registered very high TRPs, surpassing even those of the previous season.
But within the first week, viewers realized that this season of their favorite show was more hype than entertainment. The participants include a big group of snooty and snobbish wannabes and havebeens. All the participants have vowed to play safe and avoid nominations by “behaving themselves”. All except Kamal Rashid Khan, better known as KRK. KRK is the multi-millionaire actor and film maker who’s behind one of the most controversial films Deshdrohi.
KRK has single handedly provided masala, controversy and voyeuristic entertainment to the public. Amidst oodles of shanty & positive energy, KRK is like a whiff of fresh air for the people who find controversy entertaining. But all this is set to change. KRK will be evicted tonight by Bigg Boss, because of bad behavior. In yesterday’s episode, KRK was shown fighting with designer Rohit Verma and comedian Raju. He hurled a water bottle at Rohit and abused Raju. Bigg Boss intervened and asked KRK to behave, after which he cooled down and tried to make his peace with other inmates.
This is when the clever musician Ismail Darbar had a brainwave and suggested that all the housemates threaten to leave if KRK stayed in the house. Since everyone knows that it is difficult to eliminate KRK in a public vote out, everyone jumped at the suggestion and decided to threaten quitting the show. In today’s episode, the participants will carry out their threat, and as a result Bigg Boss will ask KRK to leave the show immediately.
Speculations are rife about what new course the show will take after KRK leaves. Should we expect a new dhamakedaar entry in the BB house? Will KRK come back as a wild card entry? We will find out soon…
