Karan Johar finally breaks his silence on ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ controversy!

ADHM has been in the controversy panel after the Uri attack. Well, it seems that the sentiments are overflowing with judgments. Filmmaker Karan Johar on Tuesday destituted his silence over the controversy around his film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” and released a video statement in which he said that “he will not interlock with talents from Pakistan.”

After the ongoing heated situation on banning Johar’s movie, it seems like political issues have made their emotions clouding over the movie-ADHM.

To the prevailing situation on the movie Karan finally concluded his statement. His two-minute video declaration clarifies his attitude on the issue. The clip shows how much the pessimism is actually affecting him. The director clarified why he didn’t issue any announcements earlier and said that he is severely hurt because of few people who think that he is being anti-national.

On the video, Karan said that,

“There has been some talk about why he remained silent for the past two weeks. He needs to say with strength that his country comes first. He also said that he felt that the best way to express ones’ patriotism is by spreading love and that’s all he has always tried to do through his work and cinema. He also said that he respects the sentiments today and he feels the same. Going forward, he said that, he would not engage with talent from our bordering countries given the circumstance.”

On his statement, he alleged that “I salute the Indian army for everything they do to protect us. I respect them with all my heart and I say I condemn any form of terrorism and especially the terrorism that possesses a threat to the people in my country and me. I just hope all of you understand the situation we are in and respect the fact that we love and respect our country over and above anything else.”
