Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of Jayalalithaa’s biopic ‘Thalaivii’. Recently, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has passed the film giving it a ‘U’ Certificate. The film is all set to hit the theatres on the 10th of September worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Earlier, the Tamil version received a ‘U’ Certification from the board earlier, CBFC has passed the Hindi version with ‘U’ certificate now.
A few days back, the makers dropped the much-awaited trailer. Fans were all praise for the stars and the team for the exact representation of Jayalalithaa’s life through the varied phases of her life. The makers have opted for theatrical release, to pay an ode to Jayalalithaa returning the legend to the silver screen.
Helmed by Vijay, Thalaivii, is set to release in theatres worldwide in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu on 10th September 2021.
Last week, the makers announced that the film will be released in theatres. Sharing a fresh poster, Kangana wrote, ”The story of this iconic personality deserves to be witnessed only on the BIG SCREEN! Pave way, for #Thalaivii as she is all set to make a superstar entry into the world of cinema, yet again, a place where she has always belonged!
