Kangana Ranaut had moved the Bombay high court for permission to get her passport renewed, which expires on September 15. Her renewal had been denied by the local passport authority in Mumbai on the grounds that she had an FIR registered against her by the Bandra police over allegedly inflammatory social media posts. When she approached HC, her hearing was adjourned to June 25. According to PTI, the judges had said, “It is just a film. The schedule can be changed. First of all, the application is vague. If she (Kangana Ranaut) was so vigilant, she could have approached the court with all details in advance. It is just a matter of one week, a film production takes over a year. June 25 is the earliest date we can give,” the judges said.
Reacting to the same, Kangana Ranaut took to her Koo account to allege that the Maharashtra government is harassing her.
Kangana Ranaut wants to renew her passport as she has to travel to Budapest, Hungary for the shoot of her action entertainer ‘Dhaakad’.
