Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut was announced the winner of the best actress award for her roles in ‘Manikarnika-the Queen of Jhansi’ and ‘Panga’, while Manoj Bajpayee and Dhanush were declared best actors for their performances in ‘Bhonsle’ and ‘Asuran’, respectively, at the 67th National Film Awards for 2019, announced on Monday. The jury also declared Sushant Singh Rajput’s last theatrical release, ‘Chhichhore’, as the best feature film in Hindi, while ‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham (Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea)’, Mohanlal’s yet-to-be-released film, written and directed by Priyadarshan, won the best film in the Malayalam category.

Among a total of 47 awards in the feature films category, ‘Asuran’ won the best Tamil film, ‘Jersey’ the best Telugu films, while Vijay Sethupathi won the best-supporting actor award for Tamil film ‘Super Deluxe’.

In the non-feature film category, ‘An Engineered Dream’, a Hindi film was declared winner for Best Non-Feature Film.
