Jayalalithaa Biopic Thalaivi: Kangana and Vijay to jet off to Los Angeles to work on her various looks
Kangana Ranaut is currently gearing up for her next movie which is a biopic on J Jayalalithaa. The same is titled as Thalaivi and Ranaut is essaying the role of the late actress and former Tamil Nadu’s CM.
There were earlier reports that the movie has been kept on hold as the makers are unable to collect funds.

However, Vishnu Induri, the producer of the movie, denied such reports and said that the pre-production is in full swing. He also said that movie will go on floors after Diwali and he also has confirmed that the team is in Mysore for the recce now.
And now, latest reports suggest that they will soon head to Los Angeles later this month to lock down not one or two but different four looks that Kangana will don for the movie.

A source close to the development to Times of India that the team will go to LA on September 19 to start work on the prosthetics. Vishnu took to his Twitter to give an update as well on the same. He tweeted, “#ThalaiviUpdate: Kangana has four looks spanning different ages in the film and we have roped in Hollywood Make up artist Jason Collins for Kangana’s makeover. #Thalaivi #KanganaRanaut.” For the unversed, Jason has done several Hollywood movies including Captain Marvel, Hunger Games and Blade Runner 2049.
Speaking of the movie, Thalaivi film will be released in three languages viz, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

The movie is being helmed by AL Vijay and Arvind Swami may play the role of MGR. Kangana was recently papped outside her Bharatnatyam classes as apparently in the movie there will be a grand retro number and she is currently working on it.
