Janhvi Kapoor says she battles self-doubt even today

One look at her Instagram handle will show you just why Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most stylish actresses in B-Town. The actress, who was last seen in ‘Roohi’ along with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma, often shares posts about her fashion shoots and workouts on Instagram. Apart from those, she also shares goofy videos with her friends that have become popular on social media.

In an interview earlier this year, Janhvi admitted that while she was aware of the privileges she was born with, she said that it came with its own set of challenges.

The actress said that even in school if she was praised by teachers or scored well, there would be students who would snigger and say that it was only because of her famous parents. This, she added, caused a lot of self-doubt – something that she battles with even today. Janhvi added that while the nepotism debate would continue to rage on, she ensured that she worked doubly hard to prove herself.

The actress also said that she was aware that many people thought she didn’t deserve a place in Bollywood after the tepid response to her debut film Dhadak (2018), but she was determined to work harder than ever and prove her versatility.
