Jackie Chan is planning to meet ‘Sultan’ star Salman Khan
The actor has worked in several Hollywood movies and was recently awarded an honorary Oscar for his “extraordinary achievements” in film at the 8th Annual Governors Awards ceremony.
Chinese superstar Jackie Chan will be in Mumbai today to promote his upcoming movie ‘Kung Fu Yoga’.
According to a report he plans to meet Bollywood star, Salman Khan tonight at Dinner during his one day trip in Mumbai.
His co-actor Sonu Sood has arranged for him to arrive in a chartered flight and is pulling all stops to ensure he has a memorable stay.
In order to make Jackie’s stay special, the actor has booked a presidential suite and ensured the hotel customizes the amenities for the Hollywood star. Bathrobes, towels, chocolate boxes and even bandanas placed in the room are monogrammed with Jackie’s name.
A source says, “Jackie’s co-star Sonu Sood is close to Salman (they acted together in Dabangg) and it was he who arranged for this confluence between the two leads.
Jackie will take in a press conference in the afternoon and host a small, intimate dinner for some prime people. He won’t have time to meet many people, merely he is keen on meeting Salman during his stay here.
Sonu has spoken a lot about Salman’s superstar status in India and his charity work and the action star expressed a desire to see him.
Though Salman is shooting for Kabir Khan’s Tubelight, he contrives to see Jackie at an Asian legal community and restaurant at JW Marriott, where the star is staying. ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ also stars Aarif Rahman, Sonu Sood and Disha Patani. The movie will be released on January 26.
