CBFC has to delete a scene from the movie ‘Sanju’. Yes, you heard me right, Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘Sanju’, featuring Ranbir Kapoor was presented to the Central Board of Film Certification last week and the film has been approved with only one cut. The CBFC has asked the creators to remove overflowing prison toilet scene.
Supposedly, Raj Kumar had encompassed the scene as a real incident that took place in the year 1993, when Sanjay was in the jail, CBFC asked to cut the scene for aesthetic reasons.
A source from the Board said to media that, “There are reports doing the rounds that members of the censor board had objections to Mr. Sanjay Dutt’s portrayal in a positive light. But we are not here to judge a film’s morality. We have evaluated the film in its totality and found nothing objectionable barring fleeting shots and a few dialogues here and there.”
Well, it seems like we will have to miss the single shot of the movie while watching ‘Sanju’. We are eagerly waiting for the movie to release. Are you excited too?
