Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh who were recently blessed with their second child Jovan Veer Singh Plaha, have donated ‘Panjiri’ to women at Cooper Hospital who have just given birth. The initiative was taken in association with social worker Leelavathi Salian Gupte.

‘Panjiri’ is a north-Indian dish which is eaten by women after giving birth as a nutritional supplement, to promote healing and lactation.

Commenting on the same, Geeta says “Panjiri is something which plays huge role in the life of new mothers as its extremely nutritious and strengthening.
