The medical fraternity has been working tirelessly and resolutely in the face of mounting cases, scarcity of oxygen, and lack of beds. Knowing that their emotional well-being is of prime importance during these grim times, Farah Khan has hopped aboard the Annapurna 2.0 initiative, a programme launched by senior doctors across Mumbai to lift the spirits of young medical professionals. Khan, along with actor Boman Irani, will host an hour-long chat tomorrow with 500 resident doctors and interns of five government hospitals, including BYL Nair, JJ, Cooper, Sion and KEM.

The filmmaker reveals that renowned paediatrician Dr Fazal Nabi of Jaslok Hospital approached her to be part of the programme.

Irani, who has seen images of doctors rushing from one patient to another, or resting on the floor after a hard day’s work, says he can’t thank them enough for their selfless service.

  1. I do accept as true with all the ideas you’ve presented on your post. They are very convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are very quick for novices. Could you please lengthen them a bit from next time? Thank you for the post.
