COVID-19: Rishi Kapoor wants “emergency” to be declared and military to control the people who are not following lockdown
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced a 21-day lockdown in the country to curb the spread of COVID-19. Citizens have been asked to stay indoors and step out only if it’s highly essential.
However, some people are not following the lockdown order and by that, they are putting everyone at risk!
On Tuesday, COVID-19 cases shot up in several states as people attended a religious prayer meeting at Markaz in Delhi’s Nizamuddin from March 13-15.
Now, Rishi Kapoor took to his Twitter account to express his anger over the people who are not abiding by the law during this tragic situation.
He even stated “emergency” should be declared and military should be deployed. His tweet read, “Aaj ye hua kal kya kya hona hai? That is why I said we need the military out. Emergency.”
Meanwhile, several celebs have asked everyone to take the situation seriously and stay indoors through their social media posts.
COVID-19 has brought the whole world to a standstill. As there is no cure for the disease, social distancing and self-isolation are the only way to keep yourself safe.
