The deadly combination of Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani are back to tickle your bones and make you laugh till your stomach hurts! The name of the new movie is ‘Jolly LLB’ and it has been directed by Subhash Kapoor. Subhash says that his movie is a satire and that a message based movie has a better chance to reach the audiences through the use of humour.
The director narrated a real life incident to prove his point. “When you go to courts, there are about three-and-half crore cases pending in India. There are people in jail since 15 years and their hearing has not yet started. I met a guy at the Tis Hazari courts in Delhi. For his property, his family has declared him dead on papers, and he has been fighting a case since six years to prove that he is not dead, he is alive,” Subhash said here Tuesday at the first look launch of ‘Jolly L.L.B.’.
Jolly LLB promises to be a laugh riot, but at the same time will deliver an important and socially relevant message especially in the light of the recent Delhi Rape case when it was exposed how low conviction rates and delayed justice has strengthened the hands of crimminals. We hope our audiences will appreciate such movies.
