Celebrities Offer Support to SRK After Son’s Arrest

Soon after the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, in a drug case, many Bollywood celebrities came in support of the superstar. The celebs said that people hopping to conclusions before allowing the law to take its course is ‘disrespectful and unfair’ to the parent and his relationship with his child. As per the latest reports, Aryan Khan will remain in custody till October 7.

Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB officials on October 3 following the drug bust on Cordelia Cruises’ Express ship that took place on Saturday night (October 2). RIght now, his bail plea hearing is ongoing. Several Bollywood celebrities extended their support to Shah Rukh Khan after Aryan’s arrest. Salman Khan also visited SRK at Mannat, his bungalow in Mumbai. Hansal Mehta took to Twitter to show his support for SRK.

He wrote, “It is painful for a parent having to deal with a child getting into trouble. It gets compounded when people begin to arrive at judgements before the law takes its course. It is disrespectful and unfair to the parent and to the parent-child relationship. With you @iamsrk.”

Pooja Bhatt also protracted her support to Shah Rukh Khan. She wrote, “I stand in solidarity with you @iamsrk Not that you need it. But I do. This too, shall pass.”

Well, for those unknown, NCB arrested Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and another accused, Munmun Dhamecha for their assumed involvement in a drugs case on October 3. Aryan was sent to a one-day NCB custody following the arrest. After today’s bail plea hearing, Aryan Khan’s custody has been extended till October 7.
