Because, the three movies that have released this week have failed to find their mark with the audiences and critics alike. ‘Revolver Rani’ which was much touted about being a Tigmanshu Dhulia production and starring the in form Kangana Ranaut did not make much of a mark and the critics too have derided it for being a bit over the top and stretched. 

The fate of Subhash Ghai’s ‘Kanchi’ which serves as a launchpad for Mishti is even worse and it has opened to just 10% occupancy at the threatres. Rajeev Khandelwal’s ‘Samrat & Co.’ which is a poor imitation of Sherlock Holmes sinks without a trace. Surprisingly, in North India it is the Punjabi movie ‘Jat James Bond’ which has opened to almost 90% occupancy and is expected to do well. 

If you missed ‘2 States’ last week, this weekend is a good time to catch it. The movie has done extremely well at the box office and has managed to collect about 60 odd croes of Indian Rupees at the domestic box office so far. It is slated to cross 100 cr considering the fate of the three movie releases this week.
