Kabir Bedi’s granddaughter Alaya F, who is an avid social media user, made her Bollywood debut in 2020 with ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu. The star kid managed to leave the audience impressed with her acting chops. However, as is usually the case, right from her first film, fans started comparing her to her peers like Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and more.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Alaya spilled the beans on how she takes this comparison.
Alaya, who is just one film old, said, “I think it’s wonderful. They are wonderful, amazing, talented, successful girls and they are all so different from each other. They all have something unique to offer which is why they are so successful, and to be bracketed with them is just wonderful. They have all done many movies and have been very successful in their careers so I feel like it’s wonderful. I think comparison must be looked at very positively. Just focus on the positives of everything. I think that’s very important.”
Post the release of her first film, the Covid-19 outbreak led to a shutdown of theatres in the country.
The second wave prompted a lot of celebs to put their film releases and shoots on hold. Alaya is yet to announce her next project. Meanwhile, she won the Filmfare Award in the Best Debut Female category for her turn. She received the award from her grandfather Kabir Bedi.
