Succeeding in her brother’s footsteps, filmmaker and TV producer Ekta Kapoor is sanctified with a baby boy via surrogacy on January 27.
Several times, Ekta has been verbal about not wanting to get married but was open to being a mother after Laksshya was born. The producer had said to many leading media houses that she would opt for motherhood after she knew she was ready for it and all the responsibility that comes with it.
Looks like Ekta has taken some motivation from her younger brother and actor Tushaar Kapoor. Three years ago, Tushaar became a father to an adorable baby boy whom he named Laksshya Kapoor. The actor’s son was also born via surrogacy.
As soon as the news came out on Thursday, celebrities and fans took to Twitter to wish Ekta Kapoor for the new chapter in her life.
We are really happy for Ekta who is stepping into parenthood. Ekta has officially joined the list of single mothers. She will bring the baby home soon. However, she hasn’t shared the news on social media.
