Aditya Chopra is all set to announce mega plans for YRF50. September 2020 marks 50 years of Yash Raj Films. Aditya Chopra had made big plans to celebrate 50 years of the mega production house. But due to the pandemic, these celebrations could not take off. Now that the theatres have been allowed to open to 100 percent occupancy, it is expected that YRF will make a big announcement.
Aditya Chopra is all set to announce 5 big films to celebrate 50 years of YRF. All these films will be released on big screens because Aditya believes films are meant for big screens and not OTT.
SRK-John-Deepika starrer Pathan is one of the films Aditya will announce. Prithviraj, Shamshera, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Bunty aur Babli 2 and Sndeep aur Pinky Faraar are the other big projects Aditya will announce. This announcement will breathe fresh life into Bollywood. With the pandemic and the low theatre occupancy, coupled with growing popularity of OTT platform, Bollywood seemed to be dying a slow death. But with such big films in theatres, poeple might start going back to watch films on the big screen!
