Anybody who has ever tried to lose weight knows one thing – a light dinner will help in shedding the kilos. So when you start a diet, eating light salads for dinner is great. But very soon you start feeling hunger pangs and then find yourself snacking at midnight! So what is the solution?
The solution is to eat dinner that fills you up nicely but is light on calories. One of the best ways to achieve this is to eat a filling pasta soup.
How to Make?
In a pan, add a spoon of olive oil and put it on the stove. Add in minced ginger and garlic. Add in chopped onions. Fry for 2-3 minutes. Now add in your favorite chopped vegetables of the season. Add in tomato puree and lots of water. For more body and protein, add in boiled rajma or chana. Add salt and seasonings.
When the vegetables are nicely cooked, add some boiled pasta to the soup. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
This will be a healthy soup only if you add a very little pasta to your soup. If you add in a lot of pasta, it will be as healthy as a bowl of pasta is!
