What do you do when you have ripe bananas that nobody wants to eat?
Easy, make some muffins that everybody will want to eat! All you need is some basic staples from your kitchen. Here is a simple recipe to turn ripe unwanted bananas into amazing muffins.
Ingredients: 11/2 cup Flour, 6 tbsp melted butter, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 egg, 3 ripe bananas, vanilla essence, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 2 tbsp milk and 2/3 cup sugar.
Method: Preheat the oven to 20 degree C.
In a bowl mix the dry ingredients – sugar, salt, flour, baking soda and baking powder.
In a large bowl, mix the wet ingredients – start by whisking the egg, add in the milk, butter and vanilla essence.
Now combine all the dry and wet ingredients together. Add in a few choco-chips if you like.
Now pour the batter into muffin liners set in the tray. Bake the batter in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Then lower the temperature to 175 degrees and bake the batter for another 15-17 minutes.
Cool the muffins on a wire rack. Enjoy while warm!
