Who doesn’t like potatoes? They are a good source of quality carbohydrate, great comfort food and one of the most versatile food items in our homes. You can make aloo gobi or aloo paratha, aloo puri or allo ki chat! The list is endless and our love for potatoes is also endless! Here is a unique potato snack recipe that you must try one of these days!
Bang Bang Batata
Ingredients: 4 large potatoes, or a bowl of baby potatoes if available, lemon, fresh coriander, chilli flakes, sugar, semolina, salt to taste, green chillies, garlic and butter.
Start by steaming the potatoes till they are slightly tender but not completely cooked. Peel the potatoes and chop if using big ones. Keep aside to cool.
Now combine sugar, salt, chilli flakes, chopped coriander and semolina in a bowl. Add the potatoes and give it a mix carefully.
In a pan, heat the butter and fry chopped garlic and green chillies. Now add in the masala potatoes and cook on low heat for 5-6 minutes.
Serve hot with lemon wedges and green chutney on the side. Enjoy!
