Eggizza - To Satisfy Cravings Without Putting on Weight

Have you ever tried Eggizza?

As the name suggests, it is eggs plus pizza. It is a more nutritious version of pizza in fact. It has a much higher protein content and much lower carb content. It is also much quicker to make. So if you are trying to lose weight, go for an Eggizza!

Ingredients: For the base we will need 4 egg whites, one whole egg and 1 tbsp of oatmeal along with seasonings.

For the toppings, we will need tomatoes, onion, garlic, peppers, seasonings and optional vegetables you prefer like mushrooms, olives, jalapenos etc.

Method: The Eggizza is a simple recipe and we will not need to bake the base first.

- Start by making the piza sauce. Grind tomatoes and keep aside. In a pan, stir fry finely chopped garlic. Add in the pureed tomatoes and cook till the sauce turns nice, thick and glossy. Season to taste.

- Stir fry the onions and vegetables you chose and keep aside.

- Combine all the ingredients for base in a bowl and mix well. Now in a greased pan, pour the mix and turn the flame to low. Cover with a lid and cook for a minute or two.

- Now top up with the pizza sauce. Add all the vegetable toppings and season to taste. Cover again and cook for another 3 minutes.
