But with the increasing interest in vegan lifestyle, it is important to find sources of protein that are vegan and delicious. Moonglet is one such food item that is packed with nutrition and goodness, while being vegan.
This is one of the easiest dishes you will ever make!
Ingredients: Moong Dal 200 gm, finely chopped onion, tomato, green chillies and coriander, a little oil, salt and spices to taste.
Soak the Moong dal in warm water for 2 hours. Drain out the excess water after 2 hours.
Now grind the dal into a fine paste along with green chillies and a little water.
Season with salt, pepper and other spices to taste.
Now smear a little oil on the pan/tawa and spread a thin layer of the bater on the hot pan/tawa.
Sprinkle chopped onions, tomatoes and coriander all over.
Cook on both sides for 3-4 minutes each, make sure the heat is medium.
Your Moonglet is ready, serve hot with green chutney.
