Aamir has been planning a film series on the epic mythical tale for quite some time. If we go with the recent news, veteran writer K V Vijayendra Prasad says he is in early discussions to pen the script for Aamir Khan's "Mahabharat" adaptation. Prasad is best known for working as a writer on his son, SS Rajamouli's blockbuster "Baahubali" series, as well as movies like "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi".
Screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad is currently in talks to come on board for actor Aamir Khan's 'Mahabharat', an upcoming project based on Sanskrit epic Mahabharata. "We are just in initial conversation and nothing has been finalized," the 78-year-old said. Reportedly, Aamir will play Lord Krishna in 'Mahabharat'.
There have been numerous reports around the massive budget of the film, its star cast and director. While one thing is sure that the series is being set on a gigantic scale, nothing in the star cast apart from Aamir Khan is confirmed yet.
Well, it will be a must watch movie if it sees the light of the day in this pandemic situation.
