The ongoing travel restrictions rare unlike anything we have seen or even heard of in the past. While international flights have been completely suspended for months now, the government has recently resumed operations of domestic flights. People are not flying for vacations any more, but travel is essential of work or even personal reasons sometimes. But travelling is not like what it used to be. It now comes with a lot of conditions and restrictions. Here is what you should expect if you are planning to take a flight.

Expect to be examined for COVID symptoms like high temperature.

Expect to have to quarantine for 2 weeks after you reach your destination.

If you are planning to visit a hotspot like Mumbai, you may not be able to go into certain parts of the city. Authorities will not let you go into the containment zones if you are visiting temporarily.

Masks will be mandatory everywhere during your travel.

You may need to download the Arogya Setu app.

Physical chck-in may not be allowed. So have the web check-in done before you leave for the airport.

You will be expected to strictly follow social distancing norms.

If you are found to have any COVID-19 symptom, you may be taken to the nearest quarantine facility.

Needless to say, all these measures are for your own good as well as for the collective good of the country.
