Is your family bored with eating plain sandwich bread every day? Is the only other option a paratha? Try this stuffed bread at home and your kids will love it as much as they love food from a pizzeria!

Stuffed garlic bread is tasty and also nutritious. It is an easy way of sneaking some spinach into your family's food! Here's how to make it.

Ingredients: 2 cups buttermilk, butter, sugar, salt, instant yeast, 3-4 cups maida.

For the spinach stuffing:

3-4 tbs butter at room temperature, a bowl of fresh cleaned spinach, 2 tbsp chopped garlic, feta cheese and grated mozzarella.


Take 1/2 cup water, equal part butter milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 cup butter in a bowl. microwave the mix to ensure the butter melts and you have a liquid. Leave aside for a few minutes, allowing the mix to cool down.

Now add in the maida and 2 tsp yeast. You may use regular yeast and proof it before adding in.

Knead the dough till it becomes slightly sticky and elastic. apply melted butter all over and keep aside, covered with a towel. Give the dough 2 hours (or lesser if it is warm) to rise.

Now divide the dough into 2 halves. Roll each half into a bread shape, keeping them 1/2 inch thick.

One one of the halves, apply a lyer of melted butter with a brush. Now speinkle chopped garlic all over. Place chopped spinch all over. Spinkle feta and mozarella all over.

Now cover with the other half. Place the bread in a bread pan. With a slicer, make some cutes in the bread. Brush with milk.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

You may use other vegetables like broccoli and peppers, if you like.

Your yummy garlic spinach bread is ready. Enjoy warm with your family!
