As the Corona virus cases in India climb to 471, the government is taking all steps to control the virus before it becomes uncontrollable. India is now in a state of lockdown. 30 states and UTs have imposed a lockdown, making it mandatory for people to practise social distancing. Sunday's 14 hour janta curfew has been followed by a stricter state-enforced curfew in many parts of the country.

It is believed that forcing people to practise social distancing will flatten the curve and we may be able to fight the virus. But even now we hear storied of people flouting these rules. Many people think that they will remain unscathed even if they do not practise social distancing. We have an inheret sense of invincibility that sometimes makes us a little foolhardy.

It is an appeal to everyone out there, be a hero! Be a hero simply by staying home.
