As per the latest news, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions have announced a biopic on the founder of R&AW Rameshwar Nath Kao. The movie will be an adaptation of a book titled 'RN Kao: Gentleman Spymaster'.
Karan's production house made the declaration on Twitter on Thursday. The post shared over the film's announcement was captioned as: "Turning pages into frames, one thrill at a time. Bringing to you an adaptation of Nitin Gokhale’s book - “RN Kao: Gentleman Spymaster” to the silver screen. More information coming soon!"
An adaptation of the book R.N. Kao: Gentleman Spymaster written by Nitin Gokhale, the film will tell the story of Kao who created India's external intelligence agency - R&AW and how he went on to become a success story in the world of international espionage. A ruthless professional, Kao placed national interest above his own, and among his countless career highlights is the role he and RAW played in the creation of the nation of Bangladesh.
2020 is a promising year for Johar as he has plenty of films in the pipeline. Takht, Dostana 2, Gunjan Saxena biopic and Brahmastra are few of his films that have been high on the buzzword ever since they were announced.
