After making her mark in acting and directing, Kangana is all set to put on the hat of a producer. Last Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut's sister Rangoli Chandel took to the social media to inform that the actress is starting her own production house named Manikarnika Films. It’s probable to come out with some interesting projects next year. The first film that she is producing is said to be based on Ayodhya Ram Mandir Case.
The Queen star, who has also co-directed a war-drama film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, is now looking forward to produce her film. The story line spins around Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case.
Titled Aparajitha Ayodhya, the film will release early next year. “The Ram temple has been a burning topic for hundreds of years. As a child born in the ’80s, I have grown up hearing the name Ayodhya in a negative light because the piece of land on which was born a king, who was the epitome of sacrifices, became the subject of a property dispute. The case has changed the face of Indian politics and the verdict has ended the centuries-old dispute while embodying the secular spirit of India,” Kangana told a leading media house.
Aparajitha Ayodhya will be scripted by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the writer behind the epic Baahubali franchise. Well, we wish that Kangana becomes a successful producer and bring more relevant topics on screen.
