Have you ever noticed that old people seem to have long ears and noses? Most people assume that this seems so only because their ears and noses are drooping due to age and gravity. But is that so?

You will be surprised to know that human noses and ears are the two body parts that never stop growing. Our body usually stops growing at puberty. This is the age when cells stop multiplying. Our cells may continue to increase or decrease in size individually - this is how we get fat, lean, thin or muscular. But the cells stop multiplying at puberty.

Ears and noses are the two organs that do not stop growing at puberty. Both these organs continue to slowly increase in size, and this becomes noticeable in old age when people seem to have unusually large noses and ears!
