A Pakistani woman pounded out at Priyanka Chopra at the Beautycon in Los Angeles for her Jai Hind tweet back in late February. Priyanka Chopra has become the topic of a heated hullabaloo after a Pakistani woman raised questions over a particular tweet, amid a serious escalation between India and Pakistan.
As PeeCee was answering queries on Saturday at BeautyCon, Ayesha Malik went on to call the Bollywood star a charlatan for “encouraging nuclear war against Pakistan" while serving as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
After the episode, the woman, Ayesha Malik has tweeted further on the incident. Ayesha wrote on Twitter, "Hi, I’m the girl that "yelled" at Priyanka Chopra. It was hard listening to her say, we should be neighbors and love each other swing that advice over to your PM. Both India and Pakistan were in danger. And instead she tweeted out in favor for nuclear war."
Not one to take being called out lightly, PeeCee responded, "Are you done venting? Okay. War is not something I'm really fond of but I am patriotic, so I'm sorry if I hurt sentiments to people who do love me and have loved me. But I think that all of us have a sort of, a middle ground that we all have to walk. Just like you probably do as well. The way that you came to me right now... girl, don't yell. We're all here for love."
People on Twitter have been siding with Ayesha for her stand and have been condemning PeeCee for indirectly supporting the whole idea of a nuclear war. Priyanka’s response to Ayesha has elevated several eyebrows and she has now become the target of many people's ire on Twitter.
Well, what do you think about Priyanka’s take and tweet? Do you agree with her or you too see her as a hypocrite.
