Have you ever tried to reheat a boiled egg in the microwave? Or have you ever heated the gravy or curry a little too much? We all know that heating food in the microwave often ends up in a big mess. As the microwaves heat up the food, often the food tends to 'blow up' causing a mess within the microwave. More often than not, you are too busy to clean up the mess right away. When you get to it, the mess has dried up and is now unmanageable!
Dried food stains, dirt and grime in the microwave can easily be managed if you know how to.
Put some lemon slices (or a few spoons of vinegar) in a bowl of water. Make sure it is a microwave safe bowl! Place in the microwave oven and turn it on. Heat the water on high till it starts boiling and the glass pane gets all steamy. Now turn off the oven and let the water cool down for 5 minutes before opening the door.
Now get a towel and wipe off all the grease, grime and stains from within your microwave oven. Even the toughest of stains will easily come off now. Take out the rotary plate and wash it in the sink. Using a warm damp towel, clean the outside of the microwave also. Your microwave oven is now as good as new!
