Protein hair masks are really effective and helpful to maintain your hair. Your hair is made up of keratin and chains of amino acids, or in simpler terms — protein. If your hair feels dull, dry, rough and lifeless, what it needs is a protein shiver. The only way to restore your hair’s health when damaged is to give it what it has lost.

Ingredients (You Will Need)

  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon almond oil


Mix the ingredients in a container until you get a flat steadiness. Apply the pack to your hair and leave it in for 15-20 minutes. Tint out the pack with cool water and use shampoo and condition during the wash. You can use this pack up to twice a week.


Do not use this hair pack if you have oily hair. Do not leave the pack in for more than 20 minutes as honey has peroxiding properties that can lighten your hair color if left in too long.

The egg gives your hair the protein it desires while the almond oil and honey condition your hair and seal in moisture.
