Recently one of the most awaited movies of Hindi cinema got released and it is none other than ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.

CAST: Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Here below we have the review of the movie:

The setting of the movie is of the late 18th century. Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan’s film is Pirates Of The Caribbean without pirates or Caribbean.

Thugs Of Hindostan is a big movie - the prime budget Yash Raj production of all time, the opening film to star both Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan — and yet this giant period epic turns out to be weak, formulaic and entirely forgettable. Directed by Dhoom 3’s Vijay Krishna Acharya, here is a film so dull and clichéd that it can only motivate the losers of Hindustan.

The story begins in the late 1700s, where a devious British officer named Clive deceives the honest king Mirza and mugs him off his family, life and kingdom. The young princess Zafira is the only one who escapes, along with the king’s trusted guard Khudabaksh, and many years later they form a gang of pirates who are essentially a group of survivors. Their only mission is to get their kingdom free from Clive and his Company rule.

The movie does not have any specific funny moments or stable storyline. At 2 hours and 45 minutes, the film feels a little too long. The grand work of the film does hold command in terms of the visual experience, but in the end, this one is all show and shallow in substance. We were expecting more from the movie keeping in mind the cast of the movie and past rumors.
