Akshay Kumar is back in the public service domain. He has joined hands with Hon Central government Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari ji, bringing us the message of road safety. We have heard the minister talk about India's dangerous roads and lack of safety awareness many times. This is clearly a matter of immense significance for the minister. It seems that Akshay Kumar was also highly affected when he was involved in discussions about this campaign.

Akshay Kumar has tweeted that when he found out the shocking facts and figures about road accidents which could have been prevented, he was immediately on board for the campaign.

The road safety campaign from the Hon Minister's department is in the form of a series of short videos wherein Akshay plays a traffic police cop. He apprehends people who break traffic laws and gives them the message that the road does not belong to anybody's father - so everybody has to follow the rules. It is a fun and entertaining way of giving a message to the public about road safety.
