One breakfast dish that most kids love is the pancake. If you are sick and tired of feeding parathas and idlis to your kids for breakfast, try making some pancakes. They are surprisingly easy to make and quite delicious!
Fluffy Pancakes Recipe
Wet Ingredients - 3/4 cup Milk, 2 Tblspn Vinegar
Dry Ingredients - 1 Cup Flour, 2 Tblspn Sugar, 1 Tsp Baking Powder, 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda, 1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Egg, Butter, Seasonal Fruit and other toppings like honey or maple syrup
Combine the wet ingredients and set aside for 5 minutes for the milk to turn sour.
Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Beat the egg into milk mixture and combine well. Slowly fold in the dry ingredients, mixing continously. Beat the mixture with a whisk till all lumps are gone.
Heat a pan or tawa and grease with butter. Now pour 1/4 cup of the pancake mix, spreading it out evenly.
When you see bubbles appear, flip the pancake over and let other side cook till both sides are a little golden brown.
Serve hot, topped with your favorite fruit, oney or maple syrup. Children even love jam with pancakes.
