We all know the rift that has evoked from past 15 years between Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan. The two most illustrious actors in Hindi cinema have made their mark in Bollywood but the former has always been a part of collateral damage irrespective of the conclusion to the cold war.
Vivek Oberoi had made his mark as a charmer but soon in his early career, his involvement with Salman Khan and his crew brushed his career in a wrong way possible. Vivek Oberoi had a wonderful career in the beginning of his career, but following his iniquitous fight with Salman Khan, he gradually paled away from the limelight.
As we all know, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the reason behind Vivek and Salman's enmity. Although Vivek had a promising debut in Company, followed by some hit romantic movies, his career graph went down after getting into a fight with Sallu Bhai.
In an interview with a media house, Vivek said that "it was like a fatwa issued against me from the powers that be". He even said that even after delivering a hit, no movie offers would come to him. "When my personal life got messed up, I couldn't keep my eye on the ball. Even if I gave a hit, work wouldn't follow. Shootout at Lokhandwala became a huge hit, but I sat at home for a year after that," he revealed.
We do not see any changes in the relationship that Vivek shares with Salman. We hope that the rift gets its way out and they become casual friends like old times.
